After drawing the shape on the wall with the help of a slap brush, leave it for 5-10 minutes to dry slightly, then with the help of a knockdown knife, the pattern is carved by knocking down the excess ridge layer on top of the design.

The knockdown texture is also known as the splatter texture. Most builders use it on the walls in flats because of the attractive appearance of this texture. The wall decorated with this texture can be left without panting.
If there are cracks in the knockdown texture, then after applying a thick layer of drywall compound over this texture, a new texture can be made in an irregular pattern with the help of a trowel tool.
