Enamel paints are primarily designed for wooden and metal surfaces due to their hard, durable, and highly glossy finish. While they offer excellent moisture resistance and washability, they are not commonly recommended for large wall areas. Because enamel paints have a very high gloss level, brush and roller marks can become more visible, especially on broad wall surfaces. For kitchens and bathrooms, it is generally better to use moisture-resistant emulsion paints in satin or semi-gloss finishes, as they provide durability, easier application, and a smoother wall appearance. Enamel paints can be used in smaller areas or on trims, cabinets, doors, and metal fixtures where extra durability is required.
